YES get the GSR B18C1
Love mine would never get a different motor, cheap compared to the b18c5 or type r and the gsr has tones more potential since the c5 has really high compression is made to be a N/A motor

I purchased a B18C. Its a JDM GSR. Its slightly different than a USDM B18C1.......makes a little more power.........I paid $3,000 for mine with tranny and everything. I love it.

Yes the GSR is where its at. I just think that the b16 is on the way out, and its over priced to the hilt.

one thing worth mentioning is the b16's headflow potential. mate a b16 head to a gsr with high comp. and you've got yourself a killer n/a setup.

Actually all B series are on the way out. It has been nearly 8 years sense any have came out of a honda factory and with the overwelming demand for them. On top of that the K series is really just a better platform, where B series engines potential ends the K series just starts. People are making 240+whp with mild K series n/a setups.

that just about sums it up. i'm just gonna wait a few more years, that way the k's will be quite a bit cheaper since there will probably be an even newer platform to work with.

The B18C1 from a GSR is in my opinion the only way to go. Its pretty much the pinnacle of the honda engine family. Also boost it.

I had good luck with B18 C. Check out my ride at www.onlineshowoff.com my user name is vinny112, it's a modified 98' honda Civic Coupe with 2000Si Hydraulic tranny & Integra B18C (2.0)GSR Vtec engine. I've heard a lot of stories about B16, it might be true but can't confirm any facts. good luck in choosing your engine.
