im doing a b18 swap into a go civic need help with the wireing my distributor has 5 wires and the other 7 and so on...

 

have fun swapping a GSR into a 90 civic. you will run into many shift linkage problems, wiring problems, mount problems...its really worth more of a hassle than its worth. the best engine for that generation car is teh ZC...but i dont know much about that swap. i think its offered in SOHC VTEC and DOHC non-VTEC. do a little searching around the forum and you will find tons of info on the swap

 

i already got the enigine in i just need to find out how tho wire some of the stuff shift likages are done no problem and its a ls not a gsr....

Mike you are the man. I support your move of the b18 100%. Sorry I can't help seeing as how I am worthless when it comes to mechanical and electrical concerns, but best of luck with it and have fun.

 

ya im glad too... good to hear from you i was away for some time.... good thing i dident go with that F22... since we talked last i moved to FL from chicago...

were you able to use the mounts from the acura or did you purchase new ones. and also the shift linkage. Im putting an ls in my car now and i couldn't get the mounts to line up. and i see that they also sell shift linkages for the swap so i dont know if the stock one i have will work.
