I called up a junkyard for a B18B. The guy is like $500 w/o the sensors, harness, and ECU. Stuff is too expensive.

Some of the best bump sticks you can buy for DOHC VTEC engine eliminate vtec all together and are really pricey. Does TODA ring a bell? if not take a look or look here

well, kind of. it would KILL your low end, and you do occassionally use the low end in road racing, though not much with the right gears and if you can drive properly, but youll get there a lot until you are up to a semi-pro level of driving where you are good enough to keep it in the powerband. and as for Toda Vtec Killer cams, that isnt because of any kind of advantage to not having Vtec, just that when you stay in high rpms, like in a full race car, its a trade off to lose a little bit of low end for a little bit less drivetrain mass. it suffers a big loss on the bottom end though. and I would walk a Vtec profile ground Ls swapped car, so they arent equal.
