Default B20 crank on a B18C

Hi guys, this is my 1st posting in the forum.

Currently i got myself into trouble!

Currently my Ek 4 is running a B18C engine, i realised my engine became very weird!!
So today we found out that my B18C crank chip off, YES IT CHIP OFF!!!

I was recommended to use B20 crank and con-rod on my B18, i got a few different advise so i am very troubled.
I need someone to explain to me is it a wrong choice becos the pistion ratio will be affected and it wll become not duable as well if compared to B18.I know i will get a slight higer of Cc.

Is this true?

I'm in a lost....

i dont know if it'd be a good idea.. i'de jus drop in a new crank.. do a hone on the cylinder walls if you pull the pistons out and put it all back together

I have no idea what part of it chipped, and can't imagine what could cause it to other than just being a bad forging. But usually the first step when something goes wrong is to find out why it went wrong, so it doesn't happen again.

As for the crank, either one will do the job fine. You won't see a significant gain in power or loss in reliability. Also, just fyi. The B20 crank is the same as the B18A and B18B cranks.
