Default A/C compressor?

ok so i was just curious i dont hardly ever use my a/c and was curious as to if i could take it out and leave it out if my car would still run just fine, i dont believe u NEED an a/c compressor installed for the car to run fine? and also if i was to remove this would it add some hp due to the fact it runs from a belt?

No, you don't need the compressor. But don't pull it to free up power. Unless your using the AC, it's not costing you any power. Some may say it will free up 10 lbs of weight.

So will leaving your washer jug half full.

Leave it, it'll help to sell the car down the road if you choose to.
