i am looking to put some on my stock 99 si but my main question is, do you guys think its worth it?? and do i really have to upgrade my cams in order to get the most out of the gears

 

what is the point...i dont think it will do you any good unless you have aftermarket cams or a chipped ECU...you would be doing nothing without aftermarket cams

Bro, the point of adjustable gears is to make timing/tuning easier, they wont give you any increase in power. Your gears won't mean anything until you put some better cams on it.
