Could I put a '93 Integra engine in my '89 Civic?

I don't know which Acura engine it is exactly, the ad posts it as ILS, but I couldn't find specs on that anywhere. My Civic is an '89 DX hatch.

yes it fits but you will need more than just the engine

Well I would be getting the whole car. What other parts would I need? Will the engine be compatible with my Civic's manual transaxle?

94civichatchback 01-03-2010 06:22 PM

no you will need the integra's, motor, trans, axles, shift linkages, ecu, mounts

now does your civic have the dpfi or the mpfi ??? because if you have the dpfi you will need to convert and rewire your car to mpfi.
