is there anything good u can do with a d16y7 or should i jsut swap it out to a y8 or something???

If you want vtec you can swap a y8 or z6 head onto your y7 block or you can boost it like it is. I put a y8 intake manifold on my y7 head. Nothings going to make a drastic difference unless you boost it or swap in something other than a d series. Something like an h22, b series, etc.

Well the best thing to do like rc said to swap a y8 head on it for vtec then boost it.

now what about trannys whats better?? i know went u turb a h22a u should use a f22a tranny they have longer gears. now can you use b18 tranny or y8 or y7 if i do the mini swap i just wanna know whats better

There are a few advantages to swapping in an EX transmission along with the y8 head, but you'll never truly be happy unless you swap in a DOHC engine.
