Alright, I know what I'm gonna do now...I think. I was looking around and I decided that I would save up a little more and do an engine swap for a H22A1 DOHC VTEC. Does this work and is it a good idea? After getting this engine, I would eventually do I/H/E and some other things. I hope this is a good plan, and I want to know what you guys think. Thanks a lot, again.

you can do the h22 but that a lot of work when you could put a b18c in it, less work and get close to the same amount of power if not more out of it

ORIGINAL: augie

pfff i/h/e will get u tops 25 hp on d16y7... only way to go on a d16 is mini me and turbo to get a decent power gain (mini me givs about 20//and on a stock engine you can get about 80 hp off a turbo), but other than that ya you will have to do an engine swap if you want real power...
pfff 25? Thatd be impressive out of I/H/E, a mini-me along with an EX intake manifold will give you VTEC and some gains, i say definitely do thtat if you know what you're doing

and H swaps are very possible, but just a little more work than a B series. B series is like motor mounts, shift linkage, engine/tranny and computer, it's fairly straight-forward, but i'm pretty sure an H is a littler bit harder

If I got the H series, how much would it probably be for someone to put it in for me?
