i tried searching for a anything on low compression pistons for a the d16y8 but couldnt find anything....my question is what would be my best bet for a low comp piston??

Mobsta is right, you didn't search hard enough because there is ton's of info about low compression pistons for a d16y8

try searching for vintara pistons

Suzuki Vitara pistons fit into D series and lower the compresison. They are very common pistons for turbocharging your Civic. Check on eBay for them.
