on my way home from work earlier and coming around a bend @ around 45 when I spot something on the road that I couldnt avoid so I ran over it.. The loaudest freaking "KABAMMMM" Ive heard. I look through the rear view and saw the piece break in 2 pieces...(good thing I havent put my lip on yet).
Well I continue for a lil bit pull over and look under my car...Didnt really see anything but I couldnt stay long as I was on a bad road with no shoulder. I continue for 2 more miles and as the traffic backs up I see a lil smoke so at the same time the oil gauge light comes onpull right over and WALLA huge oil leak pouring from my oil pan...Long and behold a nice size hole in it..Got towed home and Sunday I will replace it..
Question. Any idea where I can pick up an oil pan..? Not sure if its a Stealer part or Auto zone..

 

if you saw an oil light theres a 50% chance you might have a spun bearing also. it happend to me. i lost all oil pressure when i boosted my si and it spun a bearing. immediatly started knocking when the light came on

hopefully not. It took the tow truck bout 1 hour to get there and when he got it up on the flat bed a decent amount of oil leaked out so hopefully I still had a decent ampount in the pan..

 

just get one from a junkyard. clean it out really well.

 

alright well after ****tyzone got me the wrong part 2 times I had no choice but to go to the stealer and order it from them. The oil pan had a hole the size or a quarter from whatever the hell I hit.

It was $278.00 for the part but I got it for $204.00 with the gasket.
Thank god I didnt do any damage to the engine. So I am rolling again...
