You need three things for a motor to start/run.

Compression
Fuel
Spark

Are you getting spark to the wires? Is your motor getting fuel? Run a compression test to make sure things are kosher in that department.

I'd run the diagnostics like forty said, but only if it's cranking and not starting. You said it's not cranking, so I just want to clarify: Is it cranking at all? If not, then your starter or wiring is problematic.
