I still dun want a manual... sorry guys
Basically, if you want an auto DOHC VTEC your only option is a B18C1 from an integra with an auto tranny. Am I wrong guys? Maybe there's some other one that comes with auto that I haven't come across yet. Maybe the H22?.. I don't know much about Preludes.

You'll have damn good performance, and only slightly hampered handling, but you'll also have a nice large debt. Putting 7G engines into anything other than 7G's is pretty rare, and costs a kidney, since the cars were pretty much completely overhauled after 6G. But it'll cook. I myself would recommend something easier and more common... B16A/B or B18B/C.

less performance, less money, less headache. its not quite as much performance, but theyre cheaper, and will cost less to actually drop in. it takes a lot of time and patience to put a 7th gen engine into a 6th gen car...not to mention a lot of know how and a large bank acount.

B18C1 is where its at

Add about $2,000 (safe guess) unless you're doing everything yourself and are getting free parts.

EDIT: Wait, you found a used B18C1 for $3k-4k? Because that's a f**king ripoff.
