Default dsm engine swap?

just wondering if anyone has any info on the dsm 4g63 engine swap into the civics and how hard is it to do... and is it even worth it... another question does any one have any info on where i can possibly find a b18a1 or a b16a or any honda engines farly cheap i need another one i have a d15b in my car now and its givin me troubles and i also have a d16y8 that needs a set of rod barrings but id rather just change the engine out cuz i have had bad luck in the past with changing the rod barrings. its ended up costing me more that just getting a new engine so im not going down that road again lol... id like to just get ride of both of them and go with a more powerful engine any way if anyone can help please let me know...
Thanks

there are better engines to spend the time/effort to install into your car

i had a pic of a swapped ef hatch but im not sure where i put it. i would personally do the 4g63 swap, mainly because i have the resources as well as the drivetrain sitting in my tsi. imo the 4g63 is a great engine to work with as long as your willing to take the time to maintain it properly. the bottom ends in stock form have been known to take lots of abuse as long as the tune was up to par as well as maintenance. hell a 1g in stock form(internally) along with the stock 14b has gone as fast as high 12's on the 1/4 on street tires (in a gsx). but really its your choise on what you would like to have motivating your car down the road. for most sticking with a honda engine is the way to go as its been done before and there is quit a bit of help to be offered when you have problems. but if you really wanted to be origional.........ive only seen one rotary fwd swapped ef hatch before

it would be sick and something even bettter than just a 4g63 swap would be a awd 4g63 in a hatch. now that would be fast

the 4G63 is great dont get me wrong but the only thing that makes them great IMO is that they come in a AWD ready chassis

Yep like a boosted B18B or B20. Like I said I am not talking the 4G63 down as I work on them and build em up quite a bit and I know the abilities of the engine but I also know that in the front wheel drive GS-T's they have the same problems as us honda guys and that is traction issues along with axles problems in the higher power range.

Yeah, it also runs for about a day, then requires weeks of repairs and retunes. I'll try to dig up the article..
