dual carb vs injection

Default dual carb vs injection

i hav a 1988 civic with a d15b sohc dual carb engine and i hav a injected intake sitting around and i was wondering if its better to hav the engine injected rather that carbed if so how hard is it to change over

If I were you I'd save up for a B16A1 swap, I dont tell people that often and I for the most part hate B16's but in your case you are dealing with a 20 year old car/engine and I would not suggest modding it for reliability reasons. Plus full B16A1 swaps can be had for around $1200 and that is not a bad deal being you will be more than doubling your power plus getting a newer engine you can freshen up before it goes in. On top of that a B16 in a light *** 88 civic would be pretty quick for the money invested.

but a b16 is a 1600cc right, i live in new zealand and u cant do a engine swap that is of greater engine size with out getting a cert (anything from $300 to $600)

yeah man i agree with marty.. your engines gettin kinda old to start modding on now..
