hi guyz , im about to make a attempt and swap out my carburator and replace it with a injection 1.5 i mainfold . i know this is possible but what are the draw backs in doing this i was also thinking how would i go about doin 1.3 vtec set up . you see i dont want to change the 1.3 motor for a 1.6 vtec thats sort of thing i just wanna to keep the same motor
for starters i need to swap out all the wiring and replace it with the whole injection set up( ive looked into this already )and since the fuel pump is operated mechanically i would need to use a fuel electrical pump, main relay . also get a 1.6 or 1.5 obd1 from the dash to the rear loom ...... so about the vtec side of things i have a 1.5 vtec cylinder head can i just swap this to the block ? oh by the way we are talking bout a d 13 b2 motor thats what my car comes with and of course you might be thinking ( a civic dx with a carburator motor) ? well the answer is yes....!! in the uk we have the 92 - 95 dx and lsi civics bearing a 1.3 , 1.4 - 1.5 carb or single point injection setup .. so any resourceful info will do
