I drive a 91 civic dx hb, what is my engine code?

if you go to the next page on the sticky it does show, three possibles... why not just open the hood and look , anyway could be, 8valve d15y7, 16valve d15y8 , sorry, i forgot the 1.6

only 8 valve heads available to us from 88-00 is the d15b6 and the d15b8. as far as the engine code for your hatch it could either be the b15b2 or d15b1, but most likely its a d15b2 but both engines are identical.

yes sir you can......any sohc vtec head will bolt right up. just make sure you use a sohc vtec timing belt. there is a mini-me thread in the diy section of this forum
