the other day i checked my oil and it smelled a little like fuel.please tell me its not that bad guys.im new to hondas and i love the car,but i dont wanna empty my pocket. i just want the truth.thanks. also, the other day it hit the rev limmiter for a second.is this bad?thanks again.

Means your not igniting all the fuel and it's leaking past the pistons into the oil. Does the oil look thin?

Hitting the rev limiter is bad, but if it happens only occasionaly to rarely you'll be ok. Try to avoid it though.

either way fuel will find its way into the crank case. this is why our cars and about all cars ingeneral have a pcv system. it is used to recirculate unburnt fuel fumes back into the intake track to be reburned. there really is nothing you can do about this. even my old total seal build had fuel in the oil.

thanks alot guys.big weight off my chest. so what can i do about that fuel that is not burning?

the oil is kind of thin.but im givin it an oil change tomorrrow.

not much you can do about it........just keep the oil changed on a regular basis.
