a stock d15can hold up to a 50 shot with no other mods or timing adjustments as long as you know how to use it. with a 65 shot, timing will need to be retarded roughly 2 degrees. on a 75 shot it is recomended you upgrade the fuel pump and retard timing 4 degrees. ive found the on a 75 shot zex wet kit, 47psi fuel pressure at idel with vac not connected, timing retarded 3 degrees, it runs fine on a stock d15. ive had the kit on that car for roughly 8 months and it held up fine. compression #s' dropped roughly 10 acroos but what do you expect outta a d15.

Im not big on NOS, I guess its cool if you want to drastically cut the life expectancy of your engine, but i've never been a fan... especially in a daily driver car. save your money and go for the turbo/S/C. And a 50 shot is like nothing IMO.

if you want to put NOS on it i would recomend building the engine up first ior you could just do what the other guy said to do. A good exhaust for yoiur car would be the Skunk2 catback with a high flow cat, and a good CAI would the injen or AEM.
