Default Engine help?

Could anyone give me some pointers on getting my 97 civic dx faster? its pretty lame right now. im planning on just doing a mini-me head swap and the turbo... but it there anything else i can do that wont cost me out the butt??

Dude, attach an industrial sized fan in to the air intake right before the throttle body and attach that to pedals that go to the passanger side. Then just bring an in shape friend and tell them to pedal their heart out :P Seriously though, a budget helps. The usual first mods are stuff like a new intake, lowering, weight removal (free), new exhaust.

Intake, header, exhaust. New suspension, weight reduction. those are some of the things people usually start with

Nah, forget the Zex stickers, the NOS stickers are where it's at (Becaus nitrous oxide isn't even called that anymore, it's just NOS... like not other people make nitrous oxide. God I hate FastandtheFurious XD)

Well i have a new exhaust, a intake, and im lowering it this weekend. i have about $700 but im still trying to save for a turbo so i dont wanna take to much out lol, i know its not alot but i just started my new job and i dont get a ton of hours yet.
