hey all. i have my standard 1.7 liter engine in my 05 civic coupe dx and im looking to upgrade and engine swap. my max HP goal is about 225-300 in the end. so whats the engine that can get me to at least 200ish for the lowest price? thanks all

 

swaps arent cheap with this generation. the only engine swap worth doing is the k20...and even the cheapest one will give you only 160 at a grand total of about $5k. its the K20A3 out of an 02-05 Si. the next best swap...which will run a little more and net you around 200 is the K20A2...out of the RSX type-s. then your best shot at power would be the K20A. its out of the JDM ITR i believe...but im not sure. tis a rare engine in the states...but it will give you 220ish hp. thats about your engine swaps for 7th gens in a nutshell.
