Default Engine Swap Help

what would be a better engine swap for my car...i got a 96 civic ex 2dr stick with custom CNC cold air intake....would a K20Z1 engine be good for my car...i wanna go all motor...but i was told that if i put a k20 in ill be burning out all day...or should i put in a b18c5?...plz help...thx

if you try to put a k20 in you will never get it done. its a bitch of a job and has only been done twice as far as i know.

id get a C5 if you wanna go all motor

btw i reasarched a c5...its a 5.7 litre Vette engine..pushin 300-350 hp...i bet it will be like 20-30 grand to put it in

umm no a b18c5 is not a vette engine lol. its from an integra it sits around 200 i belive correct me if im wrong but yeah there like 4k-5k

USDM Integra Type-R. 185hp. 3-4k for the entire swap (depends on location, time, weather you do it yourself or not, and the target car).

oh when u said C5 i dint think u meant a b18c5..i thought u meant a C5 Vette engine....anyway...i got a Stock 96 EX civic engine...and i wanna swap it for k20...waht would you rather pick if u had a choice...k20 or b18c5....k20 is 220 hp with 130 torque...b18 is 200 hp with 100 torque or something like that..plus the k20 is V-TEC...sooo...any help here plz?

It still surpasses me why no one ever thinks of the F20B which is the direct brother of the S2k motor. They are dirt cheap and pump out like 5 less horses than an H22a.
