Default Engine Swap HELP! :(

Hey, My rod blew in my engine and I need a swap. I looked on CL and cant find anything. help?? idk what im looking for. I would like a bit more power while im at it but i dont want to spend more than like 1k. :/

Giving us information about your current vehicle would be most helpful. :O

If you do own a 98 civic, you either have a D16y7, D16y5, or D16y8. The easiest replacement would be the same motor. Not sure where you are looking in CL, but my area (Philly), D16y8s pop up semi-frequently.

If you wish to swap to a B series (B18 or B16), expect to pay more than $1K.

its the D16 V-tec. im not sure on the exact one. and im in San Francisco area.

im not really sure of two things what SF means and how much i want i have'nt really thought about it.. lol but if you need it im sure we could work something out.... im always willing to help out another tuner friend
