I am not sure about B-series engines in seventh gen civics, but if you got the money a K20A2 from an RSX-S would be sweet! Again only if you've got the money.

I've heard somewhere in the 10k range. I think the engine is $5,000 by itself. Then someone has to make the mounts and you will prolly have to pay someone to install it. It requires quite a bit of custom fab i hear.

Well what if we dont worry about keeping it street legal

? i mean if i dont go to inspection/emissions, no one will ever notice...i think?

but the cop never looked under my hood anytime i got pulled over. And even if he happens to ask to pop the hood, would a cop really be able to know "hey thats a K20, you can swap a d17 for a k20"?
