A friend of a friend had a super built car that did the 8's in the quarter mile. Before he tor it apart and built it for a turbo, it did 10's naturally aspirated. It was some kind of B18 VTEC, I believe it was a C5.

type r motors are fast, period... but i thought that people used em for pure n/a and not turbo? because of the compresion. personally, id go with the b18c5, itd be a blast to drive.

 

people use them for turbo too, but its just really expensive and usually needs to be rebuilt to handle much boost.

 

if u did have an h22 i would say just us it for track us and thas it.

i have a guy that can get engines.... if he cant get me b18c5 then im gunna go with the gsr

 

yeah the engine that he boosted he tore apart and built the **** out of it so it could handle the turbo. The guy before him had it n/a and it got really good times already before it was rebuilt for turbo.

 

so could i turbo the c5 or the gsr.. can they handle tha psi? or wouldi have to build the **** outta them.

-- yesterday i was riding with my friend in his altama and this guy in a gsr(i think) pulled up so we revved up and he just laughed at us.... so we said we want to race so we went to the place to race... we lined up an i asked.. what engine u got.. he replys.. "GSR muiah ah ah ah".... and im like ****... where about to loose! but we smoked this guy... SOOOO... so do you realy think it was a GSR. cuz he should have smoked us.. or mabey the dude just didnt know how to race... cuz this altama is slow as ****.
