engine wont start

Angry engine wont start


Engine will turn over but wont start. please help..........

when you turn the key, before turning and holding to start the engine, does the check engine light come on and can you hear a buzzing-ish sound (fuel pump priming)?

Also check for spark at the plugs (see Spark link in my signature).

i have a hi flow fuel pump on it so i can hear it kick on. and yes there is spark to the number plug. I have no suction through my intake? even when i open up the throttle.

try starting it with the gas pedal pushed down a little. If the intake has no suction when you are trying to start it without the gas pedal pushed down, I would think that would point to a clogged IACV.

Check whether the timing belt slipped a few teeth.
