Exhaust Manifold...

Exhaust Manifold...
Hey... I have a 2006 Honda Civic LX R18 ... and I was wondering if by any slight chance they may have carried over the exact measurements on any of the later 6th or 7th gen headers from any of the B18 motors... I doubt they would have... But the reason being is that I want to Turbocharge my car in the near future (when the aftermarket catches up...) And I was silently wishing that they did so I could purchase parts to get this project running...
Also, if they are not the same measurements, could I call a race shop and have them custom make a turbo exhaust manifold (nomeclature error?) using the specs of what holds them in place?

RE: Exhaust Manifold...
most shops that make manifolds and such should be able to make one for you just by giving them your manifold so they can match it up. That has been my personal experience. Downfall being you will be without exhaust until they give it back, so in other words hooe you have a spare car for a little while. Well good luck, and as far as I know the older headers are not the same as on the newer cars. Not too sure though. Let us know what you find!!! Too much information is always better than not enough!!1

RE: Exhaust Manifold...
Dur... stoopid question... I decided to look around some more and found out that indeed, they are casted into the block/head.
the way it is set up, I wonder how easy it would be to turbocharge it... I would think it would be easy since it is a nice opening where all of the cylinders meet up and there would be some room for a turbo if I made a short pipe from the Head/Block where the existing pipe is connected, to the turbo, and then downwards to the exhaust into a high-flow cat... Seems like alot of work, but I have time and second vehicle to kill...
So opinions... would that work?
Creating a short pipe from the head to the turbo, then mount the turbo, then the exhaust...
