What model of civic do u have and have u ever hit the rev limiter when u were shifting gear cuz i have an 00 Si and the rev limiter stock is 8300 but it red lines at 8000

I highly doubt it. Your tires would have friggin deteriorated. I dont have a rev limiter nor speed limiter on 99 Si and I wouldnt be able to go that fast because the tranny would hold it back. Hell, the car does 5rpm @ 90mph.

 

i dead serious that i was me and a buddy of mine he was driving we were in 5th gear at like 120 and he said that he had atleast half throttle left but he slowed down because he was scared and i know ive had it over 140 n my tires are coopers and their rated 2 go 130 for 3 minutes before they start balooning u may not believe me but im being serious its the fasted i have ever been going in a car ive had it up round 140 3 or 4 times cuz some of my friends have never gotton up that fast so i had 2 show them

 

I still dont believe it but whatever. Its almost at the snap of the fingers and I can climb that hi fast. Its gotta take you forever and a day to get to 140.

the rev limiter is higher than the redline.

and you can't really trust your speedometer that high, unless it was GPS confirmed...

 

i would put my money on remmy having a faster car and wouldnt think twice about it.

A Greddy GSR 18g turbo kit @ 10 pounds of boost all running off of a PowerFC Apexi stand-alone unit. Its putting down an estimated scant 220whp. It could be doing more. After I have the forged internal work done it will yield at least 280whp... and thats being nice about it.

Btw, I can get from 80-110 in about 7 seconds
