Harness And Computer
straight to the point
88 Civic. Harness and computer.
98 D16 motor.
do i need a 98 harness and computer to have my car run smooth.
right now there is some vacum leak. Main problem. putting the pedal to the metal, cause's my car to completly die apon realese of the pedal. idontknow the cause of that.
i have connected the vtec and a few censors myself. Giving me a way better out come. The idle isnt so upset anymore.

I recommend getting the harness and computer for the D16.
VTEC did not exist in 88. Therefore, the 88 computer cannot possibly be for a VTEC engine, and that computer will not let you have VTEC.
