Default Head games?

K guys so since I have decdied to keep the civic I am wanting to add some more power, what I have now is the GSR with I/H/E so my question is would I be better off putting a B16 head and IM on and going with the poormans type-r? Or should I buy an aftermarket IM and TB and rebuild the valvetrain with aftermarket stuff, remember daily friver as well so everything is going to have to stay fairly mild. If I go with aftermarket valvetrain I was thinking Brian crower. what does everyone think any better ideas as far as brands to go with? Thanks yall

Yes I know this is a double post but I did not get any replies the first time so i figured maybe a different section might get me some answers

the b16 will flow a little better up top, but it sounds like you arnt going to huge with the motor build, the gsr will be just fine for you, i would either port your gsr intake manifold or go with an edelbrock unit and TB, crower parts are really good, i use Supertech in all my builds and they are awesome, really any aftermarket NAME brand internal head parts will work just fine. Get some nice N/A cams. I would look into a port and polish to bring the whole head package together.

Hope this helps

Does anyone know IF and I do say if I were to go with the stroker kit from BC would I have to use different parts as far as the head goes? I know there is alot of math into making it all run nice and smooth, and this is my daily driver as well. So If I were to do all this head work would a 2.1L stroker kit work just fine with it? Any help would be appreciated.
