Haha, I've re-used head studs every time I've taken my engines apart. I've only worked with <100hp 1980's D series engines though, so I'd probably move up to ARPs if I got higher power engines. Though given my success here, I might just reuse head bolts on any DD car I work on in the future

 

On a low hp car that you never plan on redlining I don't see a problem with reusing them as long as you put them back into the same hole they came out of.
