LOL. We have tons of these threads.

Intake = ebay intake, ditch the filter and buy something better like an AEM dryflow.

Exhaust = search youtube for something you like and go from there.

You will probably have to switch to the y8 exhaust style (with the cat converter under the car instead of embedded within the exh manifold). Check out the stickied information in the exhaust section of this forum. One of our mods, Trustdestruction put together a well written "How To:/Informational" guide on this subject.

About how much will that cost me changing to the y8 exhaust? And I searched and searched but I couldn't find one with a nice deep hum to it and then got a louder deep hum when accelerating.. They all seemed a lil raspy.

Search for youtube Apexi WS2 civic would be my suggestion. It is quiet until you actually get in it.

Exhaust manifold (header) = $100
o2 sensor extender(s) (depending on where the o2 bung is for the primary o2 sensor) = $50
Y8 Cat converter = $100
Replacement donut gasket (gasket between header and cat converter) = $15

These are average prices. The hardest thing will be finding a y8 cat converter IMO.

You haven't listed where you're from, but changing to Y8 exhaust is technically illegal in states that do emission testing and really illegal in Cali.

civic ex = 1.6 sohc? not to sound like a douche, but it might be hard to get a deep sound from that powerplant. i had magnaflow on my b20 coupe, and it was ****. i have magnaflow on my b16 rex, and its terribly raspy. not sure if greater displacement always correlates with deep sound, or if my exhaust on my rex just isnt designed for a b16. just my $0.02

you can also keep the stock y7 header, then add a test pipe and catback exhaust behind it. you can get a testpipe off ebay for cheap, like 40 or so i think

ricer, he doesnt want a raspy sound, listen to the ones who have been here for a while, convert your exhaust, find a 96-00 civic ex and use the exhaust on it, or buy a exhaust manifold or header and then buy a cat and relocate it to the middle of the car, then buy a apex muffler
