well jsut the items listed above as your tune up....honestly I would replace all the vacuum hoses come spring....DIY job if you pick-up some silicone hose:-D

yeah earlier me and my mechanic friend back when i first got the car changed the spark plugs, and the brakes by ourselves....the labor isnt really a prob for me.. im just going to buy all the parts online at once and do everything ASAP so I can keep this great machine running!

make sure you SOAK the wingnut on the alternator adjuster REALLY WELL in penetrating oil like PB blaser or WD40. or it WILL break:-D

so an IACV idle air control valve controls the rpms idling? controls the amount of air coming in???

and don't try to heat it up either. The rod is aluminum and will burn through if you try to heat the nut. You can tell that I broke one once:-D

oh yeah my friend has said my CV boot was leaking... im going to buy that too now as well... what exactly does that mean??

yes. it sometimes can be removed and cleaned out. A new one is around $130. At your milage I would look into vacuum leaks FIRST and than at the IACV.

That means you're buying a new axle. Don't just replace the CV boot as you don't know how much junk already got in there and what damage has been done. Lifetime warranty axles are like $90-130 at advance or zutozone.
