Default Homemade High output Alternator!?

Happy Belated Thanksgiving to everyone before i ask my question. I was thinking about the new Custom alternator i want to buy from excessive amperage, then i thought maybe i can somehow put a smaller pulley on an alternator and smaller belt to compensate. being that im not a very good electrical personi dont know what to do and i didnt figure out where to post this i figured here would be OK. SO anyone ever hear about such a thing??? Is it plausible? I appreciate any and all help that the Forum can offer.

It would probably be cheaper to buy an aftermarket pulley than to try to design your own. Unorthodox and AEM are brands that make such pulleys.
