Hi, Im trying to find out what it will take to get a 2000 Civic SI into the mid 12s... Im thinking turbo but there are so many kits out there I have no idea where to go... Id like to keep it under 3K for a turbo setup(used is fine)... what other supporting mods would I need with a turbo? How much boost can I run safely on a stock motor? Can I get into the 12s with just a turbo?

 

ok turbo is a good plan but its not something you jump into asking questions like how much boost shows you need to reseach a TON check stickys on the turbo section. 3k is a lot for a turbo im hoping mine will total around 1.2k. all i can tell you is RESEARCH!!! sooooo much because amount of boost depends on what turbo, what tune, and what injectors.
