how many quarts of oil

i purchased 4 quarts of royal purple motor oil 5w-30, how much of it do i actually have to use hwn i change my oil, i have a 92 civic with d15b7 motor, it is 1.5l sohc 16 valve not a vtec

3.5qts. to be 100%sure, check ur owners manual.

I don't have my owners manual, I bought the car used and I don't think it came with 1

3.8litres with a new filter is what it says. It also should be writen on the airbox. Another good way is to pour in 3 litres then add small amounts and check the dip stick between adds. Get the oil to the top mark adn start your engine to fill the oil filter. Give the car a couple revs and shut it down. Wait 30 seconds then check your dipstick. Add small amounts of oil until the level touches the top marker. You're done and you have the correct amount of fluid in your car.
