ORIGINAL: My04Civic
think about how much you paid for the b18...add a little bit, plus 1k for "just in case" money and id say you got it

i dont know, it ran pretty bad *** for a few months, then i other day while deccelerating i heard a huge back fire then my engine stuttered until it died. It wont start back up , but it will turn. I dont know what to check.i just want to sell it , buy a shell, stick in a k20

Even if the entire engine is shot, everything is already wired up.....youd be better off getting another gsr motor and putting it in yourself. Wont be hard, just remove all the wires and sensors, label them all, remove the motor, and reverse.

no b series engine can fit into a 7th gen civic without the extremest modification. there are only 2 7th gen civics in the world that have b series engine swapped in - both done by AEM and they're only for racing in the salt flats in the middle of nowhere.
k series is the only viable options for power in a 7th gen civic, but the price will be about 8K-10K if you're not planning to do it yourself. depending on which k engine you can, you can get the swap done (if you do a lot yourself) for as low as $5k.
this is one of the very few times i'll actually suggest you visit honda - tech. they have a lot of people there who've done the swap before, and they can set you straight on parts, price, power, options, ect...
