Default I finally have the money

aight fellas, I have the money to swap a D15B Vtec and turbo it...

I would really appreciate it if someone could hook me up w/list of EVERYTHING that I need.

I know Imma need to get a new intake mani, to make it legal in the states. I'll have the mech switch over all of the other stuff like, water pump, distributor, plugs and wires, etc...

So please list all the extras that I need to get. (chipped P28 ecu, OBD 0 to OBD1, Vtec controller, boost controller, etc...)

keep in mind I have $1800 cash

Engine: $450
Install: $500
Total: $950

$850 extra... I can sqeeze a couple hundred more if needed

I know install isn't too hard and I'm completely down to do it...It's just that I need my car and I know if I did it, there r gonna be things that Imma have problems wit. I can't afford to not have my car. Ohh and I don't have a garage or house to do it at...I live in apartments and were not alowed to wash our cars in the car ports, I'm sure dropping an engine would be out of the Q.

So U don't think it can be done w/ the amount of Money I have?

If not, is there anything that I can do to the engine before I drop it to give it some more power, so when I have the money to boost it It'll run quicker...

dropping the engine sux, because Now Imma have to pay $400 to get it registered. I still gonna do it though

I would see if any of my friends have garages where i could work. I have a couple of friends that come to my garage and work on thier cars cause they don't have a garage/tools. Anyway, if you want to run more boost rebuild the engine before you drop it in. Get forged pistons (low comp) and rods and you will be set to run higher boost. However, rebuilding the engine will most likely kill the rest of your budget but when you get the turbo u will be set for more power.

I wouldnt park my ride out there like that w/o a nice alarm. Why not save more money and get it done right. Cutting corners with turbos is not a good idea.
