Default I have a problem need help!!!

Hey all, I just got a 2000 civic ex in good condition with like 58,000 miles on it. I went to do a compression test yesterday and everything came out perfect. But when i went to put my second spark plug back in, I accidently kind of forced the spark plug in (stupid of me but it was late and i just wanted to get it done in a rush) and cross threaded it. Because I did this, the tip of the spark plug broke off inside. Now there is no compression in that cylinder when I check it. How big of a problem am I looking at and what should be my next step in order to remedy the situation?

Holy hell.

Which tip? The threaded end or the other? You probably aren't getting a compression reading because the hole is plugged.. You may need to tap it and use an extractor.

Not the threaded end but the farthest end of the spark plug. How would I tap it and use an extractor (like what tools would I use). Thanks for the input.

you know what, I rethought what you said and wouldn't I tap it and use an extractor if the spark plug was still stuck inside?Because I was able to get the spark plug out but the end brokeinto pieces inside.

If you have pieces inside you will have to remove the head and get them out of the cylinder, or they will tear up the piston and cylinder upon starting the engine. With the head off the hole can be easily repaired with a threaded insert.
