RE: IDLE

idle spot should be 1k to 1500 correct me if I'm wrong. But yeah I also have that problem my car idles around 500 to 600 and feels like its going to die or something. Still can't figure out what's wrong.

RE: IDLE

it depends on model of car and transmission, on my 95 ex with a manual, the book says sumthing like 650, and 850 or something for the auto. i have mine set a lil higher like 800 - 900 caue ive got bad compression in one cylender and bad motormounts so the higher rpms keep the shakes down

RE: IDLE

If you have stock RPM gauge there is a line right above zero. That's the warmed up idle rpm spot.

that's the "500rpm" mark, you need to have your idle slightly above that. Check the manual for exact specs, but like Chimera said, it's probably 650rpms.

There is a procedure that you need to follow when re-setting idle, it's also found in the manual. Follow the correct procedure or else you're just turning screws..
