Looking for a D17 intake mani which they dont make... is there any i could bore out, that has the same bolt pattern or very similar bolt pattern?

 

Anyone, anyone???? Just looking for the easiest route to take for my intake manifold..

 

the flange of the d17 is actualy aluminum, you can cut that off and weld on another manifold

 

what kind of manifold would you recommend, i have been looking at the skunk2 and personally wished they made one for the d17 but could i get the d16 one and do as you said cutting off the flange and welding it onto something like this?

 

yeah you can do that. the edelbrock and blox mani's are good to.

 

I read on a different forum last night that the D16 bolt holes just have to be bored out a little bit, and it will fit, but what about the throttle body?

^ it seems to be inbetween low-end name brand and ebay, idk, i've heard mixed reviews on it
