Default JDM D15B question

I am planning to use a jdm d15b in my car as a replacement for my OBD2 d16y8. I know it should bolt right up and it is pretty much a d16z6 with different pistons(compression). I remember reading somewhere that the d16z6 didn't have a knock sensor(aside from the O2 sensor differences). I was wondering if the jdm d15b had one? If not does it have a spot for it on the block.

Thanks. I guess I'll have to incorporate the price to convert obd2-obd1 into the engine swap consideration.
