you think you could find me a d16y8 longblock for like under $200 shipped? a long block would be better so i can get the head ported.

i dont care about mileage EVERYTHING is beign replaced. i would totally appreciate it if you could do this for me.. my y8 right now is sending off a puff of blue smoke when i redline shift, burning oil is not good sign before a turbo lol [&:]and im not gonna waste my time rerring hte engine

I can look around but I am pretty sure I can atleast get you a short block. Maybe a z6 block or a Y7 block but both will do just as good.

i know of a b18c1 w/ tranny for 1k, go to craigslist MN stpaul / minneapolis and search gsr motor



will a y8 head fit on top of a z6 block? cuz my buddies headstuds wouldnt fit his y8 block to his z6 head [:@]

and if i did a y7 block with a y8 head wouldnt that be just like a mini me? and is a y7 the same everything as a y8? just not vtec upstairs?

yea Y7 is the same and a Y8 head will go right on a Z6
