just wondering about this.. for changing compression to 10:5:1 on a Y7 with MINI swap.. and adding some 75mm SRP pistons.. is tuning required?> otherwise from my basic knowledge and research so far i just take the block to machine shop and have them bore cylinders and drop new rings/pistons in and change the head gasket size correct?

its a good idea...but that compression isnt high enough to the point where you would blow your entire engine up without it. i'd still do it.
