Alrighty guys... i guess you could call this my initiation into the honda world lol... i just orered my b18 GSR motor and it should be here within a week or so. i also have every part ordered (except for my cf hood) for the EK front end conversion. got the front bumper in a couple days ago and just waiting for parts to roll in. Also ordered my Koyo aluminum radiator along w/ a mishimoto slim fan so when i get my turbo on there hopefully i'll have enough clearance. i'll be doing a full write up w/ pics on both the ek front end conversion and the b18 swap.

one quick question though... i'm kinda stuck on what color to paint it.... this is probably a month or 2 away but i'm going to be painting it when the engine is pulled for a FULL paint job. It's either going to be a charcoal grey (similar to the s2k's grey color) along w/ carbon fiber accents and black or gunmetal wheels. OR Black w/ gold metalic flake, fully blacked out w/ gold rims. all opinions welcome. thanks.

i'm just trying to think of what style rims would look ok on a charcoal colored car..... gunmetal?

 

mine is charcoal. i think the black with gold flake will look sick. i think the gunmetal w/polished lip would look good on it.

 

i'm really leaning towards the black w/ gold flake... i think alllll blacked out w/ some gold rims.... mmmm mmmm mmmm good. been looking at a couple:

if you can afford volks go with them, nothing like the real deal, i have knock off volk dish te37s in black with a polished lip and they dont look as good as the real ones.

 

well i don't plan on doing anything half @$$ on this car so i'm prolly gona go w/ the volks

 

I think you should go with charcoal grey.

 

a lot of people are thinking charcoal but... i think i'm getting more and more set on black w/ gold flake w/ those volk gold rims.... i can just imagine an EK Sol rollin down the road like that and mmmhmmm
