K20 swap into 2005 SI
I just bought a 2005 Civic SI, and I was actually pretty disappointed with it's performance. I was reading a few of my buddies magazines, and a big thing to do, I guess was swap the head of the K20a3 for the one off the rsx-s (k20a2), and I looked at the forums, and most people recommended doing the entire block. I wasn't planning on spending that much money, but if it's really worth it, I will. Is there anyway I can make up that 40hp with any other mods? say exhaust, headers, intake, and new cams? or should I look into the head swap? Please help.

You could put new cams, pistons, polish your ports, and put new valves in it, but what i would do is buy the k-20a2 block and do all the things i listed to it.Then you will have a serious engine under your hood.
Get a K20A head swap from an '01-'02 JDM RSX (Teg) Type R/'02 JDM CTR. That'll put you close to 220 hp/160 tq, as well as 11.5 CR. Or just try and find a full swap with the 6 speed LSD tranny.
