Default K20A2 vs. K24A2

Looking at doing a swap, but after reading more and more posts I'm not sure it I want the K20 (RSX-S) or the K24 (TSX). I don't need all the speed at the top end of the rpm range; I would like the hp in the full rpm range, which makes me lean to the TSX. any one else with ideas or options?

Are you aware of the final cost of this project? There is only 1 person who claimed to actually have this swap.........and well he doesnt come around here anymore........

whats the deal with the k24? is it really that much worse than the k20? iam working on a k20a engine rebuild swap and boosted to 25 pounds. i have the mount kits, the axle swaps, the engine and tranny. i have ordered 9/1 forged pistons, sleaves, rods, pins, springs, gaskets.

He was sporting these pics of a K20 swap that actually came from some well known company tuner company. I know someone will step in and refresh my memory.

I'm not sure what's wrong with either of those engines. I'm trying to see why the k24 is half the price of the k20.

K24 is weaksauce and head sux. Its less money cuz its not as potent. Put the K20A head on the K24 block and you got yourself a motor. The K24 is also taller and might be harder to fit in the stock bay. Good luck on your purchace.

Berz out.
