Lost a cylinder
Can somebody please help me,
I have a 2003 civic si, i had a stereo and alarm professionally put in. when i got it back the number 2 cylinder wouldnt work. I changed the spark plugs and changed the distributors, and still it doesnt work. Im thinking the installers fried my cpu. Any idea's?

What do you mean like DONT WORK? like a dead hole??? in that case take spark plug out poor a VERY TINY BIT OF motor oil down the spark plug chamber start it up, you will see mad smoke but hopefully you can revive the cylinder
Yes, it was done at bestbuy. Dont ever take your car there, thought I was getting a deal and saving some loot on the install. It ended up they spliced a wire that sent a signal to that cylinder when they fed the wires through the firewall. I made them payto get it fixed($230) and I got them to throw in a rockford fosgate sub ($250) for free, for all my trouble. And they gave an instore credit for the install ($100)
Thanks for your help guys
