Question LS/VTEC over heat problem.

i recently dropped a b18a1 block with 95 gsr head (ls/vtec) into my crx. it runs fine. no leaks, knocking, exc. good engine. after a good distance drive, it over heats really bad. all the radiator lines are compressed and the temp. gauge shoots up. the car idles at 500 and wants do die when this happens. if i keep the car at 3k rpms or less, it wont over heat. . . i changed the thermostat, water pump, radiator, radiator fan, head gasket . . . none of my friends ran in to this problem before, and i don't know what it could be.. any info. can help..

Are you overheating only at idle after a drive, or when moving after the car warms up?

What brand Tstat did you put in?

Your hoses are compressed, as in flattened? Did you replace the radiator cap? Do you have an overflow container?

What are you tuned on and what is your A/f at idle, WOT, and cruising?

Edit: Was the car's coolant system bled properly?

it will not over heat at idle, until i drive it. once it overheats, its constant. it doesn't cool down then get hot. its constantly hot.

i took out the thermostat to see if that was the problem, but the car does the exact same thing weather the thermostat is in or out.

my radiator hoses are compressed, like want to explode. haven't replaced radiator cap, and yes, i do have an overflow container.

its on a p28 ecu not tuned.. it idles at almost 1k rpm.

yea, the cars coolant system was bled properly.

Lol my car is doing great, may need to change rotors and an axel has a torn boot FTW but nothing major. My dad changed the fuel pump after I was unable to find the unfindable invisible super hidden main relay lol.... didnt fix problem, i gave up she payed to get it fixed I believe.

found out it idles at 500 when i go into boost.. it dont over heat tho.. i had to unplug a vacuum line so it stays running after i get on it.. otherwise it will die.. what sensors would cause it to go into limp mode???
