I've got a chance to get a stock d17a2 head and vafcII shipped to my door for $285... he says it should be everything except the head gasket.. I've mostly done weekend bolt on type projects, but think this would be a fun project.. So, the question is do I do it, or is it not worth it? I know there isn't many 7th gen d17 owners on here, but has anyone done this or seen anything that gives an idea of HP/performance increases?

Also, am I looking at any hidden costs or should it be pretty straight forward?

I am not very smart about the D17's but it sounds like a good deal.
